1. The "Golden Rule" of Cleaning

Never use harsh chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive brushes. These can strip the metallic luster.

The Routine: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to buff away dust after every wear.

The Deep Clean: If you catch some mud, use a slightly damp (not soaking) cloth with a drop of mild, pH-neutral soap. Gently wipe and pat dry immediately.

2. Weather-Watching

While our gilded finish acts as a protective shield, these are fashion pieces, not rain boots. * Avoid Deluges: Try to avoid heavy rain or snow, as prolonged moisture can seep into the original leather pores from the inside out.

If they get wet: Stuff them with acid-free tissue paper (to maintain shape) and let them air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators.

3. Mind the Scuff

Because these are upcycled, the bond between the gold and the base material is strong, but physics still applies!

Watch Your Step: High-friction activities (like dancing on gravel or driving in heels) can cause "character marks."
