This is a friendly informal 3 hour (ish) workshop, maximum 6 participants with Jackie from Brits Love Vintage Interiors in the shop in Oxford Street Whitstable.
This class is perfect for beginners who want to learn how to decoupage.
Découpage comes from the French verb découper, 'to cut out'. This technique is suitable on almost any surface.
The workshop is £45.00 per person payable upon booking.
At this workshop you will be able to practice decoupage techniques using napkins, découpage tissue, with Frenchic® products you will complete a bottle with lights an oyster shell and a plant pot to take home with you.
All Frenchic paints, brushes, waxes and top coats are provided. Light refreshments (and plenty of creative chatter!) included.
This is a hands-on day, so it is advisable to wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on.
Frenchic Furniture Paint is an environmentally friendly chalk and mineral paint, it is EN: 71-3 certified, meaning that it’s safe to paint nursery / children’s furniture. It has no voc’s added and is toxin and solvent free with no odour. It is creamy and rich with fabulous coverage.
The day has a flexible structure
Starting at 11.00 am with tea / coffee and biscuits (maybe homemade) available throughout the day.finishing around 2pm.
What's the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable after booking, but you can rebook on the next available workshop or reallocate your ticket to someone else, just send us an email with the name and email of the person you have allocated your ticket to.
We reserve the right to cancel a workshop if there are less than 2 participants or if Jackie is unavailable. Full refunds, or an alternative date if preferred, will be given if we cancel a workshop.

Please note that some workshops take place during shop opening hours, so if you see me step away to assist a customer, you can continue with your current step. Think of it as a little extra 'zen time' to focus on your creation—I’m never more than a few steps away if you need me!
