From Dining Table to Global Sensation: The Frenchic Story
On a rainy November morning in 2014, a dream was born. From the humble dining table of Pamela Gruhn Frenchic founder in Camberley, Surrey, Frenchic Furniture Paint® was launched, little did Pam know, this simple act would spark a global movement.
Frustrated by the limitations of existing chalk paints, Pam set out to create a product that was not only eco-friendly and safe but also easy to use and produced stunning results. Frenchic was born, a paint that could transform furniture, both indoors and outdoors, without the harsh chemicals or overpowering odors.
What started as a small-scale operation blossomed into a global phenomenon. With over 500 local UK stockists and growing numbers worldwide with a dedicated community of fans on the Frenchic Fan Forum with over 641K members.
Winning The Queens Award in 2020 and voted "best washable wall paint and best chalk paint in tests run by the Good Housekeeping Institute" in 2022. Frenchic has redefined the world of upcycling and home decorating with a huge range of over 150 colours.
